As a note, ISNA is no longer the preferred organization for most IS folks. OII has gained the attention of the current crop, as old ISNA sorts such as myself are considered sell outs to Dreger's DSD horsepuckey.

ON the other hand, most of the IS folk in ISNA were fighting to deal with the issue of surgical reassignement, and Dreger's greatest benefit is that she enabled the stopping of that through diagnostic means.

She may not be a friend to transfolk because of her defense of Bailey, but she's absolutely a friend to IS folk.
