Hi.
This is a blog. About transsexuality, feminism, misogyny, transphobia, homophobia, GLBT stuff and etcetera (check my tags for more on that). This is also an angry blog.
You might see me as slightly antagonistic. Oh well. I incite because I am trying to push people into thinking, discussing and breaking out of the stagnant bullshit of privilege. Which needs a nice firm kick quite a bit. Sometimes to the head. If I need a nice firm kick too, make sure to distribute it because well, I'm not immune to privilege either. XD

Welcome to my space. Take your shoes off, stay a while. Use the fucking coasters.

Date: 2009-09-02 10:13 pm (UTC)I mean seriously? Do you not understand the function of umbrella terms? They classify based on a very simple set of aspects and then further down in the hierarchy of classification is where the differences are shown. You being different from a crossdresser says nothing about whether or not the TG umbrella is a justified classification system.
And really, how are they speaking for you? They don't claim to be the same. They don't claim to be your voice. Often TG folk add in disclaimers regarding their own experiences and how they shouldn't be applied to others.
None of you have shown a single place where the TG community tries to speak for you. Even the claims about Virgina Prince are looking more and more like outright fabrications as more of the older opposition weighs in.
Where is this problem you speak of?
