Alright. That's a fair point. The results certainly can't stand on their own as an indicator of scientific established theory. But they do establish the probability of missed confounding variables when taken into account compared to the other study (by showing that is reason to believe that a heavy control group accounting for pre HRT treatment needed to be made).

So the point of the study from the 1990's not being suitable evidence for the HBS theory still stands. Thank you for pointing that out, though.
